Kareem has worked across the United States at regional theaters such as the Guthrie, Alliance, Pioneer and Penumbra Theatre companies. Kareem continues to perform on Stage, in Film, Television and New Media.
Currently he is the lead in ‘Talking with the Taxman about Poetry’ a film in which he plays Theodore who is based on a character from the poem ‘Notes from the Underground’ by Fyodor Dostoyevsky. Kareem is a company member of the famed Actors Gang Theater and Ensemble Studio Theater-Los Angeles.
This summer he performed the role of Tybalt in ‘Romeo and Juliet’ for the Gang and in the spring he had the honor of working with Oscar nominated screenwriter Nicholas Kazan on his play ‘Mademoiselle God’. A multiple award nominated actor himself, Kareem was recently nominated again as Best Lead Actor by the NAACP 2011 Theater Awards for the role of John Newton Templeton in the play ‘Free Man of Color’
Outside of show business Kareem enjoys the outdoors, flying airplanes and politics.
